Procem Engineers(I) Pvt. Ltd.

Our small office is up on the fifth floor of the Sunshree building on NIBM Road. Being in Kondhwa means we see a lot of traffic down below, but up here it is a bit more peaceful. Procem Engineers is mostly just a few of us sitting around desks covered in drawings and calculators. We deal with a lot of technical stuff that would probably bore most people to tears. Pune is a hub for this kind of work, so we fit right in with the local scene. The elevator in this building is sometimes a bit slow, so we end up waiting in the lobby talking to the security guards quite a bit. Inside the office, we have stacks of blueprints that never seem to get smaller. We spend our mornings looking over figures and our afternoons usually involve some sort of phone call to a site. It is not a glamorous job. There is a lot of back and forth, and sometimes things don't go according to plan, which means we stay late to figure it out. We keep a stash of biscuits in the drawer for when the work gets long. The view from the window is mostly other buildings and the street, but it's nice to see the city moving. We have been at this for a while now in Maharashtra, just doing our part and trying to stay on top of the technical details.
