If you ever find yourself in Karvenagar, Pune, you might pass by the Kakade City complex. That is where we are, up in unit A/907. Proceca Engineers And Automation Pvt Ltd is basically a group of us working on various automation projects. Pune is a big hub for this kind of thing, so there is always something going on nearby in the industrial areas. Our office isn't very large, but we have enough space for our computers and a few prototypes we are messing around with. The view from the ninth floor is okay, mostly just other buildings and the busy streets below. We spend a lot of time looking at sensors and control systems. It is the kind of work that requires a lot of patience. Sometimes a piece of equipment won't behave the way it is supposed to, and we spend all afternoon trying to find the one loose wire or the small error in the code. We are not the type of company that puts out a lot of advertisements. We usually just get work through people we already know in the industry. We keep a pot of tea going most of the day because it helps when things get a bit stressful. It is a normal office environment with people complaining about the traffic or talking about what they had for lunch. We just focus on the engineering side and try to make sure everything we build actually works.
