Preeti Travels & Transport

Our office is tucked into 1184/4 Shivaji Nagar, right in the Gokul Nagar area near FC Road. It is a busy part of town with students and office workers always rushing around outside. We have a small space with a few chairs and a desk where we handle all the bookings. Most of the day is spent on the phone talking to drivers or checking on where the vehicles are. It gets pretty hectic during the holiday seasons when everyone wants to go somewhere at the same time. We keep a map on the wall and a lot of logbooks on the shelves. The floor is just simple tile and we have a fan that runs all day to keep the heat away. Sometimes the drivers come in to drop off keys or have a quick cup of chai before they head back out. It’s not a fancy travel agency with posters of beaches everywhere. We mostly just deal with the transport side of things, making sure cars and buses get where they need to go. If the traffic is bad on FC Road, it makes our job harder, but we manage. We’ve been here in this spot for a while now, so people know where to find us when they need a ride for a group or a trip out of the city. It’s a lot of coordination and checking the clock, but we stay on top of it.
