We operate out of Dehu, specifically in the Ashoka Apartment area. It’s a bit unusual to have a fabrication setup in an apartment block, but we’ve made the space work for us on the first block. The sound of cutting and welding is pretty common around here during the day. We have a lot of tools and machines squeezed into our workspace, so you have to watch where you step. Most of the time we’re covered in a bit of dust or grease from the latest project. We take on all sorts of small engineering jobs and metal fabrication tasks that people bring us. Sometimes it’s a simple repair, other times we’re building something from a rough sketch on a piece of cardboard someone brought in. It’s hands-on work. We don't have a big corporate office with fancy chairs. Our desks are usually covered in metal shavings, loose bolts, and measuring tapes. The light in the workshop is a bit dim, but we have those portable lamps to see the fine details when we need to. People from the local industries nearby often drop in with parts that need fixing right away. We’ve been at this for a while, so we know our way around the materials. It gets hot in the summer with the machines running, but we just keep the doors open to get a little breeze. It’s a busy, noisy life, but there’s something good about finishing a piece and seeing it fit just right. We just get on with it.
