We are situated right along the Pune Nagar Road in the Sanaswadi area. It’s a very busy stretch of road with heavy trucks passing by at all hours, so there is almost always a bit of dust and noise in the air. Our workshop is a very practical, no-nonsense space where we handle different types of engineering tasks for our customers. We don't have a fancy entrance with a receptionist or a lobby for people to sit in. You just walk through the main doors and you're right there where all the work is happening. We have a few heavy machines that take up most of the space and a lot of hand tools scattered around the workbenches. The team here is quite small, just a few of us who have been doing this kind of thing for many years. We usually start our day by checking over the machines and seeing what needs to be finished from the previous afternoon. It gets pretty hot in the middle of the day, especially with the metal roof over our heads, but we’ve all grown used to it. We deal with a lot of local repairs and various small-scale manufacturing jobs. Sometimes people just stop in because they happened to see our sign from the road and they have something that needs fixing quickly. We do what we can to help them out and get them back on their way. It’s a steady rhythm that seems to suit us just fine without needing any extra fuss.
