You can find us at Shop No 2 in the Raj Kiran Apartment building. We’re right in Rajiv Nagar, which is usually buzzing with people. The best way to find us is to look for Samrat Sweet—we’re right next to it, near Bhagwati Chowk. It’s a great spot because if we’re hungry, the snacks are right there. We focus on gears here. It’s a very specific kind of work, and it gets pretty greasy. The shop isn't very big, so we have to be careful about where we put everything. We’ve got shelves full of different metal parts and tools scattered on the benches. People from all over Rajiv Nagar come to us when they have a machine that isn't turning right. Being in an apartment building means we have to be careful about the noise, but the neighbors are mostly okay with us. We’ve been here since the building was newer. Now the walls could use a bit of paint, but we’re more worried about the precision of the teeth on the gears we’re cutting. It’s a lot of measuring and double-checking. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything. We just put the sign out front and wait for people to come in from Bhagwati Chowk. It’s a simple life, making sure things keep spinning the way they’re supposed to. We just take things one gear at a time and try to stay organized in the small space.
