You can find us over at the W-39 MIDC sheds in Bhosari. It’s a busy industrial area, so there’s always the sound of trucks and other shops working nearby. Our place, Powertek Precision Ind, is one of the smaller sheds, but we pack a lot into it. We focus on specific manual work, which mostly means we spend all day staring at small parts and making sure they are exactly right. It can be tiring on the eyes, but it’s what we’re good at. The shed gets pretty warm in the afternoons, so we usually have a few fans going to keep the air moving. We’ve been here in Bhosari for quite some time now and know most of the other shop owners on this block. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If you come by, you just walk in and talk to whoever isn't currently running a machine. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We have our regulars who drop off work and pick it up a few days later. There’s always a pot of tea somewhere and a few newspapers lying around for break time. We don't bother with much of the corporate stuff you see in the big cities. We just like to get our orders done and head home to our families. It’s a simple life and a simple business here at W-39.
