We’ve been operating Poona Agencies out of Khadki Bazar for a good while now. Our exact spot is New Bazar 80. It’s a very traditional market area, so it’s always crowded with people and goods moving back and forth. Our space is mostly filled with boxes and inventory because that’s the nature of the business. We don't have a flashy storefront or anything like that. It’s just a working warehouse and office where we handle the daily paperwork and shipments. You’ll usually find us either on the phone or checking the stock levels against our lists. The building at number 80 has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and keeps the rain out. We’ve got a small desk near the entrance where we take care of anyone who drops by. Khadki Bazar is the kind of place where everyone knows everyone, so we often spend time chatting with the neighbors while we work. It’s a bit dusty because of all the movement in the market, but we try to keep our corner as clean as possible. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. It’s a steady routine of loading and unloading, checking invoices, and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s honest work in a busy part of town, and we’re quite used to the pace by now.
