Piyush Electroplaters

We are located at Gate No 1551 in Sarate Vasti, Sanaswadi. It’s right near Western India Forgings, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to find us. Piyush Electroplaters is basically a workshop filled with tanks and vats. The air always has a bit of a sharp smell because of the chemicals we use for the plating. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear your best clothes. We wear old overalls and heavy boots because things get splashed. The floor is usually wet in some places, so we have to be careful where we walk. It’s a lot of repetitive work—dipping parts, rinsing them, and checking the finish. We have a crew of about six guys who handle the different stages of the process. We start early, around 8:00 AM, and try to get the heavy work done before the heat of the afternoon hits. The shed we work in has high ceilings, which helps with the fumes, but it still gets quite hot. There’s a small radio that usually plays local stations to keep the guys going while they work. We don't have a fancy office; just a small wooden desk near the entrance where we keep the ledger and the phone. It’s a tough job, but someone has to do it. We just focus on the pieces in front of us and try to keep things moving.
