Pistonhead Customs

We are based in Pune, working on custom projects. If you walk into our shop, the first thing you will notice is the smell of oil and metal. It is a messy place because we are always cutting, welding, or painting something. Pistonhead Customs is not a clean, white-walled showroom. It is a workshop where we get our hands dirty every single day. We spend hours looking at engines and frames, trying to figure out how to make them look and run differently. Pune has a big culture for this kind of thing, and we are just glad to be a part of it. We do not have a huge team. It is just a few of us who really like working with our hands. We do not use fancy marketing talk. We just show people what we have built. Some days are spent just searching for a specific part that is hard to find. We have tools scattered all over the benches, and there is always some music playing in the background to keep us going. It is loud, it is dusty, and it is exactly how we like it. We take our time with the work because rushing usually leads to mistakes. We have had customers from all over the city stop by just to see what is on the lift. It is not a corporate gig; it is a lifestyle for us. (246 words)
