You can find us at Plot No. A-46/h in the Midc Indl. Area in Pimperi, Pune. At Precision Industries, we spend most of our time working with lathes and milling machines. It’s a lot of metal shavings and oil. We make small parts that go into bigger machines. Everything has to be measured carefully because if it’s off by even a tiny bit, it won't fit right. It’s a lot of staring at gauges and adjusting dials. The shop floor is usually pretty busy with the sound of cutting metal. We’ve got a few guys who have been here for years and they really know these machines inside out. We don’t spend much time on fancy office stuff; we’re mostly out on the floor. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing it. That’s just how it is in this business. It gets hot in Pimperi during the summer, so we keep the fans running as much as we can. We take in orders from other local factories and try to get them done on time. It’s simple, honest work. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make parts that work like they are supposed to. People know us as the place at the end of the lane that gets things done. We usually have tea together in the afternoon while we wait for the machines to finish a cycle.
