Phoenix Mecano (India) Limited

We are based out in the Pirangut Industrial Area, specifically at Plot 388 and 389 in Village Bhare. It’s a bit of a journey to get here if you are coming from Pune city, especially with the truck traffic on the Mulshi road. The area is surrounded by hills, which is nice when it rains, but it can get really dusty during the dry months. Our facility is quite large since we are on two plots, so there is plenty of space for the production lines and the storage areas. It’s not a fancy place, just a lot of corrugated metal, concrete floors, and the sound of assembly work going on. We have a lot of people coming in from the nearby villages every morning. The canteen is where everyone catches up over tea. It gets pretty hot inside during the summer, even with the high ceilings. We spend our days moving components around and making sure the boxes are packed right for shipping. There is always a lot of activity near the loading docks. We don't have a big marketing department or polished brochures lying around. It’s just a factory where people work hard to get things out the door. The commute can be a bit much sometimes, but being out here in the Mulshi taluka has its own rhythm that we have all gotten used to over the years at Phoenix Mecano (India) Limited.
