Pearl Engineering Polymers Ltd

Out here in Karegaon, things move at a different pace than the big cities. We’re located in Harsad, which is part of Loha in the Nanded district. It’s a bit of a trek to get here, but it’s where the actual work happens. The facility handles engineering polymers, so there’s a lot of heavy equipment and raw materials moving around. The shed is quite large, and during the monsoon, the sound of the rain on the metal roof is so loud you can hardly hear yourself talk. We have a small office area where the logs are kept and where we handle the post. Most of the staff comes from the local area, so everyone knows each other. It’s a lot of physical labor, keeping the machines running and the materials sorted. The Marathwada sun can be very harsh, so we try to get the heaviest work done early in the morning before it gets too hot. There’s nothing fancy about the setup; it’s all about utility and getting the orders processed. We see the transport trucks coming in and out of the gate all day, heading towards the highway. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to wait it out or switch to the backup. It’s a straightforward operation, and we don't spend much time on anything that isn't related to the daily production. It is just how things are done in this part of Maharashtra.
