Pats Engineering Works

You can find us at unit 184 in the Bhosari Industrial Estate, not too far from the P C N T D A office. This part of Bhosari is always full of trucks and the sound of metal being worked on. Our shop is one of many here. We do general engineering work, mostly small parts and custom pieces that people bring in sketches for. The floor is concrete and usually has some metal shavings scattered around. We have a small crew of guys who have been doing this for years. They don't talk much while they're working, they just focus on the lathe or the welding torch. It's a dusty environment but that is to be expected in an industrial estate. We don't have a front desk or a receptionist. Usually, if you walk in, you just have to shout a bit to get someone's attention over the noise. We keep a pot of tea going for the afternoon slump. We’ve seen other shops come and go, but we’ve stayed here in the same spot. It’s steady work. We don't make big promises, we just look at what you need and tell you if we can do it. Sometimes we’re backed up with orders and the place looks a mess, but we get through it eventually. It’s just how things are in a busy workshop like ours, with everyone trying to finish their tasks before the day ends.
