Parda Machine Tools

Our shop is at 577/578 in Nana Peth, right on the New MSR 80 Feet Road. We are quite close to Chacha Halwai Chowk, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us. The road is always busy with traffic and people walking to the market. We have been selling machine tools from this location for many years. The shop is full of heavy equipment, and the air always smells a bit like oil and old metal. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the inventory inside out. We spend a lot of our time moving things around to make space for new arrivals. It’s hard work on the back, but we’re used to it. We don't use any fancy software to keep track of things; we still mostly use a big notebook and our memories. Sometimes we forget where a specific part is, but we always find it eventually. People come to us because we don't try to sell them things they aren't looking for. We just show them what's in stock and tell them the price. It's a very straightforward way of doing business. The lights flicker sometimes when the heavy machines next door start up, but we just keep working. It's an old-fashioned way to run a shop, but it works for us and the people who come by to see us.
