Origami Machines is tucked away over in Vadgaon Khurd, specifically down Lagadmala along Sinhagad Road. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren't from around here, but we like the location. We’ve been operating out of this space for quite some time. The workshop is usually filled with the sound of metal and parts being moved around. It gets dusty, but that’s what happens when you’re building machines all day. We aren't a massive corporation with hundreds of suits. It’s just us, a group of people who know how to put things together. Sinhagad Road is always packed with traffic, so getting in and out can be a bit of a chore during rush hour. Our building is at Sr.No.11. Inside, things are organized in a way that makes sense to us, even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If you walk in, you’ll probably just see someone in overalls working on a frame or checking a motor. We handle a lot of the assembly right here on the floor. It’s honest work. We make machines that do specific jobs for other businesses. Sometimes we stay late when a project is tricky. There’s a lot of trial and error involved in what we do. We just keep at it until the machine runs the way it’s supposed to. That’s pretty much our daily life here in Vadgaon.
