Omkar Engineering Works

Down in the Chinchwad industrial area at C-2/5, you’ll find Omkar Engineering Works. It’s a workshop where we do a lot of metal cutting, welding, and general fabrication. The floor is concrete and there are iron scraps almost everywhere you look. It’s a noisy place with the grinders running and the constant hum of the machines. We’ve been doing this for years, mostly taking on small to medium jobs for other businesses nearby. It isn't a glamorous job. We come home with soot on our faces and tired muscles every single day. The shop can get quite hot in the summer, making the work even slower than usual. We don’t have any fancy office staff, so if you call, you’re likely talking to someone who just put down a welding torch. We try to keep our measurements precise, but every now and then a piece doesn’t fit and we have to start over. That’s just how engineering goes. Our equipment is old but reliable, and we know exactly how to coax it into doing what we need. It’s a practical business built on knowing how to handle steel and iron. People around Chinchwad know us as the place that just gets the work done without any extra talk. We focus on the blueprints and making sure the welds hold up under pressure. It's just hard metalwork done daily.
