Omkar Engineering Works

Omkar Engineering Works is located over at Shop No. 11 in the Sant Tukaram Auodhogik Society. We are right in the D-2 Block of the Chinchwad MIDC area, which is always humming with noise and trucks. Our shop is one of many in this complex, and we’ve been here long enough to know most of our neighbors. We handle a variety of engineering tasks, mostly involving different types of machining and repair work for local factories. It’s not the cleanest place you’ll ever see, as there is always some oil on the floor and metal shavings from the lathes. We just get on with the work day by day. There are a few of us working here, and we mostly just focus on the drawings or the parts sitting on the bench. Sometimes the machines act up or the power goes out, but we manage to get things back on track eventually. We don't do a lot of talking or fancy paperwork. Most people just come in with a part that needs fixing or a drawing they need us to look at. We are easy to find if you are familiar with the Survey No. 58 and 59 area. It's a hardworking environment and we prefer it that way. We don't have any big corporate goals, just keeping the shop running and doing decent work for the people who hire us. Every day is a bit different depending on the jobs we get.
