Omkar Engineering Works Pvt. Ltd.

I spend most of my time at the shop in Chichor, over at the Empire State Jag Mohan building. It is quite a busy place. We have been running Omkar Engineering Works Pvt. Ltd. for a while now from these two units, M-1 and M-2. Usually, there is a lot of noise from the machines because we are always cutting or welding something. It isn't a fancy office. There are metal scraps in the corners and the smell of oil is pretty much everywhere. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty but that is just how an engineering workshop looks. People come by with all sorts of parts that need fixing or they want us to make something specific for their project. We just get on with the work. My hands are usually greasy by lunchtime. It’s hard work, but we like seeing a finished piece of metalwork sitting on the floor ready to go out. The location here in Chichor is okay, it’s easy for the trucks to pull up when they need to drop off heavy materials. Most days it is just us making sure the lathes are running right and the measurements are correct. We don't have a big front desk or anyone in a suit. If you walk in, you will likely find one of us under a machine or checking a drawing on the workbench. It is a straightforward operation we have here. We just focus on the task at hand.
