If you head down Sinhgad Road and get toward Nanded Gaon, you will find us over at Octagon Precision. We are tucked away in the Gkd Industrial Estate, specifically at J7 and J8. The area is usually bustling with trucks and people moving things around, so it can be a bit of a challenge to find a parking spot some mornings. We deal with precision parts, which basically means we spend a lot of time looking at very small details and making sure measurements are correct. It is quiet work in some ways, but the machines make a steady hum that fills the room. We have been in Pune for a while, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit as more shops opened up around us. The floor is usually covered in little metal shavings, and there is always a pot of tea going somewhere in the back for when we take a break. We are not a giant corporation with thousands of employees. It is just a team of us who have been doing this for years. Sometimes a machine acts up and we have to spend half the day getting it back in line, but that is just how it goes in this line of work. We don't use big words to describe what we do; we just make parts that fit where they are supposed to go.
