Unique Travels

Unique Travels is located at Krishna Chauk in New Sangvi. If you know the area, you know that the Chauk is always moving. There’s a lot of traffic and people walking by at all hours. Our shop is right in the middle of that. We spend our day answering questions about bus timings, train tickets, and car rentals. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy. The walls are covered with some old calendars and a few maps that have seen better days. We have a small counter where people stand and talk to us. It can get pretty loud with the horns honking outside, so we sometimes have to raise our voices to be heard. We don't have a fancy waiting area or anything like that. People just pop in, get what they need, and go on their way. New Sangvi is a good place to be, even if the parking around Krishna Chauk is nearly impossible to find. We’ve got a small computer that’s a bit slow to boot up in the morning, which gives us time to have our first tea of the day. We don't really have a boss breathe down our necks or anything. We just manage the bookings as they come in. It’s a simple life, and we like the people who come in with stories about where they’re going.
