Laxmi Tours & Travels

Our place, Laxmi Tours & Travels, is located at Kranti Chowk in New Sangvi. It’s a busy intersection and we’ve been set up here for a long time. The office is small and simple, with just enough room for us to work and a couple of customers to sit down. We mostly deal with booking trips and arranging transport for folks around here. There’s always a lot of paperwork on the desks and the phone rings quite often. Sometimes people just walk in to ask about bus timings or how much a taxi to the airport would cost. We try to keep track of all the different routes and prices, which can be a lot to remember. The area around Kranti Chowk is always lively, so there’s never a quiet moment outside. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know the business well. We spend our days checking bookings and making sure the drivers know where they are supposed to be. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes things get a bit behind schedule, but we do what we can. People in the neighborhood know us by name, which is nice. We just focus on getting people where they need to go. It’s a basic operation but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We have some travel pamphlets by the door too.
