New Horizon Public School

Our administrative office is over at C 407, Ekta Residency in Sector 6. This is in the Khanda Colony area of New Panvel West. It’s an apartment building, so it’s where we handle the behind-the-scenes stuff for the school. Dealing with registrations, fees, and all the paperwork for the kids takes up most of our time. It’s often quite loud in the office because there’s always someone on the phone or a parent coming by to ask about admissions. We have folders everywhere and the desk is usually covered in forms that need to be signed. We’ve been in Panvel for a while and the community here is very close-knit. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood coming through the windows—the traffic, the vendors, and sometimes the kids playing nearby. We aren't a big corporate school chain; we’re a local institution. The office is a bit small for all the work we do, so we have to be really organized, though some days it doesn't feel like we are. We drink a lot of chai and try to keep up with the endless emails. It’s a lot of responsibility to manage everything, but we just take it one day at a time. New Horizon Public School is run by people who live right here in the area and care about how the kids are doing. It’s a busy, messy, and very human place to work.
