We are located in Kolhapur, up on the sixth floor of Sriniwaas Heights. Our flat is number 501. If you know where Basant Bahar Talkies is, then we are very close to that. It’s a well-known spot in this part of Maharashtra. Being on the 6th floor means we have a bit of a view of the city, which is nice during the monsoon. Ndtv Media Ltd operates out of this flat. It’s not a typical corporate office; it feels more like a lived-in space. We have our files stacked up and the desks are pushed against the walls to make room. The elevator in Sriniwaas Heights can be a bit slow sometimes, so we often find ourselves waiting in the lobby chatting. Kolhapur is a great place to be, it has a lot of energy. We’ve been here for a while and the staff knows the local tea stall owners by name. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. The building itself is sturdy and has been here for years. We usually keep the balcony door open for some fresh air. It gets a bit noisy from the street below, especially when a movie is letting out at the talkies, but we’ve gotten used to it. It’s just a normal day-to-day for us here. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture. We just focus on getting things done.
