Smita Engineering Works

We've been at Survey No. 29 on Abhinav College Road for a while now. It’s right in Narhe Gaon. Most people around here know us as Smita Engineering Works. We handle a lot of different metal and mechanical jobs that come through the door. It gets pretty loud in the shop during the day with all the machines running. We aren't a big factory or anything, just a group of us working hard to get things right. Sometimes the shop floor is a bit of a mess because we stay busy, but that's just how it goes when you're actually making things. We deal with various engineering tasks every day. If you’re coming from the college road side, you’ll find us easily enough. We don't have a fancy front office, we spend most of our time out back where the work happens. It’s mostly regular locals and nearby businesses who stop by when they need something fabricated or fixed. We try to keep our head down and just do the work. The weather can get hot in Narhe Gaon, which makes the workshop pretty warm in the afternoons. We've got our routine down. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. People know they can find us here if they need help with a project or a repair. We usually have some scraps lying around and the smell of oil is everywhere. There are days when things don't go exactly to plan, but we figure it out. We aren't much for talking, just doing.
