Nageshwari Tea Company

Nageshwari Tea Company is situated in the Market Yard at Gultekdi. We are specifically at Office No 164 which is right by Gate No 1. If you know the market you know how busy it gets. From early morning there are trucks coming in and people shouting and the smell of all kinds of produce in the air. We are right in the middle of all that chaos. Our office is a small room where we manage everything. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock coming in but we make it work. We spend our days dealing with the other traders and the people who come to the market for their supplies. There is always someone dropping by for a chat or a quick business deal. We don't have time for anything polished or corporate. We just wear our regular clothes and get our hands dirty when we need to. Gultekdi is a place where you have to work hard to keep up. We have been at Gate No 1 for a long time so we know all the other shopkeepers around us. It’s a community of its own inside the market walls. We just focus on getting the tea out to the people who need it. Most days we are too busy to even eat lunch until late afternoon. But that is just how the market yard life goes for us. We wouldn't know what to do with ourselves in a quiet office.
