Mrs B Krishnamurthi

Mrs B Krishnamurthi operates out of 166 Rasta Peth. We are in the Jagruti Society, specifically in the Shraddha flat. It’s very close to the Zilla Parishad, which makes it easy to give directions to anyone coming over. Rasta Peth is one of those parts of Pune that always feels alive. It’s a bit crowded and the roads are narrow, but it has a lot of heart. Our space is essentially a home office. It’s comfortable but it’s definitely a place of work. We have shelves full of books and files that have been there for a long time. It’s not a modern office with glass walls. It’s a solid, older building with thick walls. We’ve been here for many years. We don't have any fancy technology systems. We mostly rely on our notebooks and a couple of computers. It’s a quiet way of doing things. Usually, it’s just one or two of us here. We make our own tea and take our time with the work to make sure it’s done right. We don't have a big sign outside the society. People who need us usually know exactly where to go. It’s a very personal way to run things. We aren't looking to expand or become a big company. We are happy just being here in Rasta Peth and helping the people who come to us. We keep the windows open to let the air in even when the street is loud.
