We’ve been at 903/4 Shukrawar Peth for a good while now. It’s a busy spot and people often stop by just to look at the shelves. We have all sorts of handmade items, mostly things made from wood or brass that local craftsmen bring in. It gets a bit dusty with all the traffic outside, but that’s just how the neighborhood is. Sometimes we are busy unpacking crates and other times it’s quiet enough to have a tea and chat with the regulars. The shop isn't very big, so things are stacked up high. We try to keep things organized, but when new stock comes in, it takes over the floor for a few days. People come here when they need something specific for a gift or their home. We don't really do fancy displays. It is more about finding what you need in the pile. Shukrawar Peth is always loud with scooters and people walking past, so there is always something to see out the front door. We keep the doors open most of the day. If you walk past the old buildings around here, you’ll find us easily. Most of the stuff we sell has a bit of weight to it. We spend a lot of time wrapping things in newspaper so they don't break on the way home. It’s a simple setup we have here. Nothing too complicated, just us and the items we sell every day.
