Mogli Resort, Madhya Pradesh

Our place is right on the edge of Bandhogarh National Park. It’s a lot of trees and quiet out here, except when the birds get going in the morning. We spend most of our time making sure the rooms are tidy and the grounds don't get too overgrown. Being in Madhya Pradesh, the summers are really something, so we're always checking on the fans and water. We get people visiting from all over who want to see the tigers or just get away from the noise of the city. The resort has been here for years, and it feels like home to most of us who work here. We don't have the fancy stuff you'd find in a big city hotel, but the air is clean and the nights are dark. Sometimes a wild animal wanders a bit too close to the fence, which keeps things interesting. We fix things as they break and try to keep the garden looking decent. It’s a lot of manual work, sweeping leaves and keeping the paths clear. We eat our meals together and talk about what needs doing next. Mogli Resort, Madhya Pradesh is just a simple spot for people who like being outside. It can get lonely when there aren't many guests, but there's always something to clean or paint. We like it here in the middle of the woods. It's a different kind of life than the city.
