Indotech Engineering

Indotech Engineering is over at Plot No. J-203 in the MIDC area of Bhosari, Pune. If you know Pune, you know that the traffic in Bhosari can be a real headache, especially during the peak hours when everyone is trying to get to their plots. We are in the J-block, which is a bit of a maze if you don’t have the plot number handy. The workspace here is mostly taken up by machines and workbenches. It’s a typical engineering setup with blueprints lying around and bits of metal on every surface. The air in Bhosari always has that industrial tang to it. We start our day early to try and beat some of the heat, although the fans in the workshop don't do much when it’s really cooking outside. We don’t have a corporate office with glass walls; our walls are just painted brick and they’re covered in calendars and safety posters. It’s the kind of place where you know exactly where every tool is because you’ve used it a thousand times. Most of us have been working in this part of Pune for years, so we’re used to the noise of the neighboring units and the sound of the transport trucks backing up. It’s a straightforward life at J-203. We come in, we do the engineering work that needs doing, and we try to get out before the evening traffic gets too bad.
