Microfine Engineering

Our workshop is located in Building No. 08, Sector No. 16, Shahu Param, in the Pcntda area of Chikhali, Pune. It’s an industrial hub, so the sounds of metal hitting metal and machines whirring are just part of the background every day. We do engineering work, mostly small parts and precision stuff, so we spend a lot of time looking through magnifying glasses or using calipers. The floor is usually covered in tiny metal shavings that we have to sweep up constantly. It’s a bit of a cramped space with all the lathes and milling machines we’ve squeezed in over the years. We started this in Pune because there’s so much manufacturing around here. It isn't a fancy setup. We have old metal stools and a few workbenches that have seen better days. Our hands are usually stained with coolant or oil. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit around and wait for it to come back on before we can finish a job. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. Most of our work comes from people nearby who know we can handle the technical bits. It’s just us, some heavy machines, and a lot of blue drawings. We take our time to make sure things fit right, but it’s just a normal job for us. No frills, just engineering work in a busy part of town.
