Micro Gauges

Our place is out on the Bangalore Bellary Road, specifically at S. R. V. No. 4 in the Chinchwad Hunasamaranahalli area. It's a bit of a trek if you're coming from the main city, but this is where the work happens. Plot No. 4 is where you'll find us. We deal with gauges here, which is technical work, but the day-to-day is just like any other workshop. The road outside is always loud with trucks and lorries heading out of Bangalore. Sometimes the dust from the road gets into everything, so we spend a good chunk of time keeping the instruments and the workspace clean. We aren't a big corporation. It’s just a small setup with a few machines and some measuring tools. People who need this kind of work done usually find their way here eventually. The weather gets quite hot in the afternoons, and since we're right by the highway, there isn't much shade around the plot. We usually start the day early before the sun gets too high and the traffic gets unbearable. There's a small tea stall a bit down the road where we take our breaks. It's a simple life out here on the Bellary Road. We focus on the gauges and try to keep things moving. Not much else to it really. Just working the plot and making sure everything is measured right. We’ve been here since the road was much quieter than it is now.
