Mica Sales & Engineering

Our place, Mica Sales & Engineering, is over at 261 Budhwar Peth on CMH Road in Lakshmipuram. It’s a very busy spot because we are right opposite the Dagdusheth Ganpati Temple. If you have ever been there during a festival, you know exactly how packed it gets outside our door. We deal with engineering supplies and mica parts, so our shop is usually filled with various components and boxes. It’s an old building in an old part of the city, which gives it a certain character, even if the walls could use a bit of paint. We don’t have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know the business and handle the sales. Most days involve looking up parts in old catalogs or talking to regulars who have been coming to us for years. The traffic on CMH Road can be a nightmare, but we’ve gotten used to the noise of the bells from the temple and the crowds passing by. It’s a simple setup. We have a counter, some storage racks, and a desk where we do the accounts. We don’t do much advertising; people just find us because of where we are located. It’s a honest day’s work here, trying to make sure every customer gets the right engineering parts they came for. Sometimes it’s slow, sometimes we can’t keep up, but that’s just life in Budhwar Peth.
