Menka Public School

Menka Public School is out here in Hadapsar on the New Bypass Road. Specifically, we are at Survey No 311/5 in the Rasage Ali area. Being near the bypass means there is always a lot of movement outside our gates. It can be a bit dusty with all the construction and trucks going past but we have grown accustomed to it over the years. Our school day starts quite early and the playground gets a lot of use before the sun gets too hot. We have several classrooms that we try to keep tidy, though with kids running around, that is a bit of a losing battle most of the time. The teachers here are mostly locals who live around Hadapsar. We spend our mornings checking uniforms and our afternoons making sure everyone gets on the right bus or finds their parents. It’s a straightforward place without much fuss. We have a small office where we handle all the admissions and fee receipts. It’s usually piled high with folders and registers. The school has become a part of the Rasage Ali community over time. We aren’t trying to be anything other than a local school for the families nearby. Sometimes we have small events in the yard, and the whole neighborhood can hear us. It’s just how things go here on the bypass road every single day. We are just busy doing the work and making sure the kids learn what they need to learn for their exams.
