Mehboob Degree College High School

You can find Mehboob Degree College High School tucked away in a spot that’s a bit off the main Sinhgad Road. We are down Vrindavan Nursery Lane in the Panmala-Dattawadi area. It’s a busy part of Pune but once you turn into the lane things get a little quieter. We have both the high school kids and the older degree students in the same general area which makes for an interesting mix. In the mornings you see the younger ones and then later the college students are hanging around between their lectures. The address says Survey No 129 A and we’ve been here for quite some time now. Most people find us by looking for the nursery nearby. The building itself is straightforward and functional. We don't have much in the way of big signs or bright lights. Most of our students come from the surrounding neighborhoods so they usually walk or ride their cycles. During the exam season the atmosphere gets a bit more serious and the staff is busy sorting out halls and papers. It’s a lot of work keeping both sections running smoothly but we manage it day by day. We have a small staff room where we sit and have tea during the breaks. It isn't a corporate environment at all. Just a local school and college doing what needs to be done for the students who live around here.
