Megha Engineering Works

Our shop, Megha Engineering Works, is situated at S-11 in Shantinagar, Landewadi. We are right near the Uppal Market in Bhosari. It is a lively area with lots of small businesses tucked away in the narrow lanes. We do a lot of repair work and custom engineering for people who need things fixed. Usually, you will find me or one of the guys bent over a lathe or welding some pieces together. The place is not very big, but we have all the essential machines packed in there. It can get a bit crowded when we have several large jobs going on at the same time. We do not really have a process for service—we just talk to people when they walk in the door. If they have a broken part, we see if we can fix it or make a new one from scratch. We have been here for several years now, and we have seen the market change quite a bit. There is always someone coming by for a quick weld or to ask for some advice on a mechanical problem they are having. We do not have a fancy sign or any glossy brochures to hand out. We just have our tools and our years of experience. We work until the sun goes down, and sometimes later if there is a rush. It is just regular work for us. We try to be fair with our prices.
