Maya Shrunagar & Verities

You can find us at Shop No 6 in the Krishnalila Apartmen building along Saint Tukaram Road. We are right there on the corner of 80/A Baroda Street in the Armament area. It is not a very big shop but we try to keep it packed with all sorts of things people might need for their daily life. We have a lot of different varieties of items, hence the name Maya Shrunagar & Verities. Mostly it is jewelry and small beauty things that the ladies around here like to browse through in the evenings. The shelves are a bit crowded because we always find something new to add. My sister helps me out behind the counter most days when it gets busy after school hours. The light in the shop isn't the brightest but we know where everything is kept even if it looks a bit disorganized to someone walking in for the first time. We have lived in this part of town for years so we know most of the people who come in. It is nice to chat while they look for a specific color of thread or a new set of bangles. Sometimes the deliveries take a bit longer to arrive because of the narrow streets around here but we manage. We aren't trying to be some big supermarket or anything. Just a local spot where you can find those small bits and pieces without having to travel too far.
