Matoor Peta School

Matoor Peta School is located in the Disha Building. We are right on the Alandi Pune Road, specifically in the Alandi Devachi area. Our pin code is 412105. Being on the main Alandi Pune Road means there is a lot of movement outside our doors. The Disha Building is a plain structure that houses us and a few other things. We have several rooms where the school activities happen. It is a very straightforward setup. Alandi Devachi is a place with a lot of history and a lot of people visiting, but we just focus on our daily school schedule. The noise from the road can be a bit much sometimes, with all the cars and buses heading towards the city or the temple. We just get on with it. The interior of the school is simple. We have basic chairs and tables for everyone. There are no fancy decorations on the walls, maybe just a few charts here and there. We’ve been at this location for a good while now. The staff knows the area well and most of us walk or take a short bus ride to get here. It is an honest place of work. We don't try to be something we are not. We are just a school in the Disha Building trying to do right by the people who come here. It is practical and real. Our days are busy but they have a good rhythm.
