We’ve been over here at 1875 Sadashiv Pethnatu Baug for a while now. The workshop gets pretty loud when the machines are running, but that's just how it is. Most days start early before the traffic really kicks in on the narrow streets. You’ll usually find someone tinkering with a lathe or looking over some blueprints on a messy desk. It’s not a fancy setup, just a lot of metal and oil. Sometimes the name on the door throws people off, but we are just local folks doing the work. The building itself has seen better days, honestly. We spend most of our time fixing things or figuring out why a certain part isn't fitting right. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially in the back where the heavy stuff stays. We don’t really do much in the way of big meetings. Usually, it's just a quick chat over tea and then back to the floor. We’ve got a couple of guys who have been here since the start, and they know where every single screw is kept. It’s a bit cramped with all the machinery, but we make it work. Customers come by, park their bikes outside, and we talk through what they need. There's no big reception area or anything like that. Just a door that stays open most of the time to let a bit of air in. It’s steady work, and we like keeping it that way. It's just a normal machine shop.
