Martand School No.1

You can find us over at Urmila Society on Grahak Peth Road. It’s a well-known part of Dhankawadi, and we’ve been at this Survey No 981 location for a long time. The building is a bit older, but it serves its purpose well enough. We have several classrooms where the students sit on rows of wooden benches. It’s a very local feel here in the 411043 area. People know the name Martand around these parts. We don’t go for anything flashy or high-tech if it’s not absolutely needed. We just focus on the textbooks and the blackboards. Sometimes the fans are a bit creaky, and the paint on the walls could use a touch-up, but the learning still happens every day regardless. The office is usually a bit cluttered with registers and old files, which is just the way we work. We don’t have a dedicated "customer service" team because we are just a small school. If you have a question, you just walk in and ask whoever is at the desk. The morning assembly is always a bit chaotic with everyone trying to stand in line, but we get through it. We aren't trying to be the most expensive school in Pune. We’re just here for the neighborhood families who need a reliable place for their kids to go every morning. It’s a regular, hardworking school that doesn't put on any airs. We just do the work and go home, simple as that.
