Marica High School

You can find us on the first floor of the Janani Complex. We are part of the Dnyandeep Society, right near the Magarpatta City and Hadapsar area. It's a very busy part of Pune, so there’s always a lot of traffic and people moving around outside. Being on the first floor means we see everything happening on the street below. We have been running things here for a while now. The space isn't huge, but we have organized the classrooms to fit everyone in. Some days it feels a bit cramped when the high schoolers are moving between classes, but we make it work. The Janani Complex has other offices too, so we have to remind the students to be a bit quiet in the hallways. We spend our days mostly teaching and keeping track of attendance. There is always a pile of registers on the desk that need to be filled out. Parents often drop in after work because we are so close to the main commercial hub. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, especially with the sun hitting the building windows. We keep the fans going and try to stay focused on the books. It’s a straightforward place. We don't have big fancy grounds, but the students find their own ways to stay busy. We’re just a local school trying to get the kids through their exams and into the next grade.
