Our office is tucked away in Shantiban Appartment, which is in the Anandnagar area right off Sinhagad Road in Pune. If you know Sinhagad Road, you know it can be a real nightmare with the traffic during the evening rush hour. Luckily, being in an apartment building makes it feel a bit more relaxed than being in a crowded commercial complex. We have our desks set up in the main rooms, and we use the kitchen area for our tea breaks and quick lunches. The building is surrounded by other residential blocks, so there are always kids playing downstairs or people walking their dogs. It feels very much like a home office that just grew a bit too big for a single room. We do our daily business tasks here, mostly involving a lot of phone calls and sorting through stacks of files. The view from the balcony is just of the next building over, but it lets in some good sunlight during the morning. We don't have a big sign outside or anything, so most people just find us by the building name on the gate. It’s a simple setup where we focus on getting the work done without much fuss. When it rains, the sound on the windowpanes is quite loud, but it’s actually kind of nice while we are working. We’ve been here in Anandnagar for a good while and have gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood.
