Mantora Public School

We have been over here at Sanjay Park for quite a bit now. Our building is in Lane 4C, right in the middle of Viman Nagar. It’s a busy part of Pune, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get to work or drop their kids off. Mantora Public School isn't one of those massive campuses you see on TV with stadiums and all that. It’s more of a local place where the neighborhood kids come to learn their lessons. We have some classrooms that get a lot of sun in the afternoon, which makes it a bit warm, but we have fans running. The desks are the old wooden kind, and some have scribbles on them from years ago. We try to keep the place tidy but with so many kids coming in and out, there's always a bit of dust or a stray pencil on the floor. The teachers here are mostly from around this area, so we know the families pretty well. We spend most of our day just going through the curriculum and making sure the kids understand their math and science. Sometimes the bell rings a minute late because the clock in the hallway is a bit temperamental. It’s just how things go here. We don't have a big fancy reception, just a small office where we keep the files and the attendance books. It’s a practical setup for us and it works for the families nearby.
