Manpangleng School

You can find us on M.I.D.C. Road over in Talegaon Dabhade. This area is mostly known for the factories and industries, and the school sits right amongst all that activity. It’s a bit of a drive from the main Pune city, but for the people living and working in Talegaon, we are right where they need us. The school is a simple structure that serves its purpose well. We have the standard classrooms and a small open space for the kids to use during their breaks. The air here feels a bit different than the city center, maybe a bit more open. We have a mix of students from the local villages and the factory worker housing nearby. The routine is the same every day—bell rings, classes start, and then there's a lunch break where everyone sits together. We don't have fancy equipment, just the boards, chalk, and books. The teachers come in every day and get to work with the students. Sometimes the trucks on M.I.D.C. Road make a lot of noise, but we just keep the doors shut. It’s a very grounded place. We focus on the basics and making sure the kids understand what they are reading. There’s a lot of walking back and forth between the gate and the main building. It’s just a normal school doing its work in Talegaon. We have a small garden area that we try to keep green even when the water is a bit scarce during the summer months.
