Manik Engineering

Manik Engineering sits at 169 Dapodi on the Udhna Main Road. Being on the main road means there is always noise from the traffic. Buses and bikes go past all day long. It can be a bit loud if the door is open, but we are used to it by now. The workshop at 169 is a decent size for what we handle. We have the benches set up and the heavy equipment bolted down. It feels like a solid place to spend the day. Manik Engineering has been part of this street for a long time. People know us as the place on the Udhna Main Road that always has the lights on late. The floor is concrete and has some cracks here and there, but it works for us. We don't spend much time worrying about the paint on the walls. We just focus on the engineering side of things. Lunchtimes are usually spent sitting near the back where it is a bit quieter. Sometimes we watch the rain come down on the main road and wait for the puddles to clear. The shop has a specific smell of grease and metal filings. It is a working environment through and through. We get our supplies delivered to the front, and it can be a scramble to get everything inside before the traffic blocks the way. That is just part of being at 169 Dapodi. We close up around six most days and head home after a long shift.
