Mangatram Memorial Public School

Mangatram Memorial Public School is located over on D P Road in Kothrud. Most people in the neighborhood know the area well since it’s quite a residential hub. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while, tucked away from some of the heavier city noise. The school day usually kicks off with the sound of gates opening and parents dropping off their kids on scooters. It’s a practical building, nothing too flashy, just enough room for the kids to sit and study. We have the standard rows of desks and blackboards that have seen plenty of use over the years. During the breaks, you can hear the kids playing in the open areas, and sometimes it gets a bit rowdy, but that is to be expected. We don’t really go for all the corporate polish you see in some of the newer institutions. It’s more about the daily routine here. The staff room is usually piled high with notebooks and there is always someone brewing tea in the corner. Kothrud is a nice place to be, and being on D P Road makes it pretty accessible for the local families. We just focus on the lessons and making sure the kids are where they need to be. It’s a lot of hard work keeping everything running smoothly, especially when the rains come and things get a bit muddy outside. We just keep moving along and getting through the school year one day at a time.
