Manas International School

Manas International School is tucked away in Kapil Terrace, over in the Kondhwa Khurd area of Pune. It’s not a massive campus with stadiums, just a local school for the families living around here. We’ve been in this building for a bit, and the neighborhood has grown a lot since we started. There’s always construction or something going on nearby. Most of the kids live within walking distance, so you see them walking to the gate with their heavy bags every morning. We try to keep things simple. The classrooms have the usual desks and blackboards. We spend a lot of time talking to parents about how their kids are doing. It’s not always easy, especially when it’s raining and the roads get muddy. Kondhwa is a busy place, and we are right in the middle of it. Inside the school, it’s a bit different. It’s noisy, but it’s the good kind of noise from kids playing or shouting during lunch break. We don't have a bunch of fancy slogans or anything. We just teach the lessons and make sure everyone is safe. Sometimes we have a small event in the terrace area if the weather is nice. The staff here mostly lives nearby too, so we know the local shops and the traffic patterns. It’s just a normal school where we do our best to keep things moving along each and every day.
