Mamta Auto

Mamta Auto has been in Hinjawadi for quite some time. Back when we started, this whole area looked a lot different. Now it's all big buildings and IT parks, but we’re still tucked away doing our thing. It's a busy spot now. We spend most of our time dealing with the traffic and the noise while we work on the vehicles. The shop isn't huge, so things can get a bit crowded when a few people show up at once. We usually have grease on our hands and a lot of parts lying around on the floor. It’s just me and a couple of others keeping the place running. We don’t talk much, we just get to it. Sometimes the weather makes it tough, either too hot or raining into the workspace, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest place around. We just want to finish the job and move to the next one. Most of our customers are locals who work nearby or live in the old part of town. They know we’re here if something breaks. We keep a pot of tea going most mornings. It’s nothing special, just a regular auto shop where we try to stay busy. Sometimes we run out of space out front, so we have to shuffle the bikes around. It's a bit of a puzzle every day, but we manage to get by without much fuss.
