Majherpara Kumarish Chandra High School

Majherpara Kumarish Chandra High School is located at 937, Main Road. This is right in the heart of Nana Peth, Pune. If you know Nana Peth, you know it is one of the oldest and busiest parts of the city. There is always something happening on the Main Road. We are right in the thick of it. The school building has been around for a long time. It’s got that old Pune charm, though it could probably use a fresh coat of paint here and there. Being a high school, the noise levels go up and down throughout the day. When the bell rings, the whole street knows it. We don't have a big fancy campus with grass and trees. We have the city right outside our door. It’s a very urban way of going to school. The students are mostly local kids from around Nana Peth. We see their parents in the market every day. It’s a very close community. We don't have any corporate office feel here. It’s just us, the teachers, and the kids. The rooms are high-ceilinged and keep relatively cool. We just go about our business day by day. It’s been this way for years. We are proud to be on Main Road. It’s a busy, messy, wonderful place to be.
