Mahindri Drama School

The Mahindri Drama School is located in Andhari Nagar, Kharadi, at Survey Number 4/1. We are not your typical school with rows of desks and math books. Instead, our space is filled with old costumes, some wooden blocks for stages, and a lot of scripts lying around on the floor. Kharadi is usually known for tech companies, but this little pocket in Andhari Nagar is a bit more creative and quiet. The building is fairly basic, just a large open area where people can move around and practice their scenes. It gets quite loud when we have a full group rehearsing, so the neighbors sometimes hear us shouting lines or clapping. The floor is a bit scuffed from all the shoes and moving furniture, but that is fine for what we do here. We do not have a big sign out front, just the address that people follow to find us. It feels a bit hidden away, which is actually nice for the students who want to focus on their acting without people staring at them. There is a small tea stall nearby where everyone goes during the breaks to talk about their roles. We do not have fancy lighting or a big theater, just this humble spot where people come to learn. It is a bit dusty and the paint is peeling in a few corners, but it is a real place for people who care about drama.
